Better than one out of every four golfers at the Chamber’s sold-out “Tee Off for Toche” 53rd Annual Golf Outing, held at Oak Meadows Golf Course (900 North Wood Dale Road, Addison, on July 24, took home cash or merchandise as a contest, auction or raffle winner.
Pro Select Sports USA (835 North Church Road) sponsored the awards given to the low gross men’s, women’s and coed teams, and longest drive, longest putt and closest-to-the-pin for both men and women.

The Basic Mortgage Corp.-sponsored coed team of Jerry Noti, Peg Basic, Sue Crackel and Paula Popov posted the lowest score of any foursome with a 16-under 55 on the par-71 course.
The men’s low score of a 14-under 57 was carded by the LMC International-sponsored team of Dave Kiel, Bill Hackett, Rogor Huhberger and Jim Cornelius.
The women’s team low score of 80 was posted by Debi Serritella (My Friend’s Place), Sharon Sullivan (State Farm Insurance), Marlene Tegmeyer (Elmhurst Visitors & Tourism Department) and Laura Michaud.
Men’s contest winners included Sean McHugh (Elmhurst Lincoln-Mercury) for closest to the pin at No. 4, Eric Van Berschot (Tortilla Flats) for longest drive at No. 11 and Bob Mills (RE/MAX East-West) for longest putt at No. 18.
Women’s contest winners included Nicole Kaysing (Tortilla Flats) for longest drive at No. 8, Cyndy Crider (Fifth Third Bank) for closest to the pin at No. 16 and Colleen Callahan (Elmhurst Park District) for longest putt at No. 18.
Eleven players carded 6s to share in the three cash prizes sponsored by the Elmhurst Press in our three-hole putting contest.
