Happy fall!
October has always been my favorite month. I love everything about this season—the crisp air, cozy evenings, our annual outing to the local Elmhurst Lions Club Pumpkin Patch with my dog, Bradley Cooper , and the way Elmhurst shines as our tree-lined streets burst with color.
Fun fact: Did you know the ECCI logo was designed to reflect the changing colors of elm leaves throughout the seasons? Our team drew inspiration from those colors to create a fresh, bold look for our website homepage. Check out the first phase of our new design here.
September was an exciting month at the Chamber! We hosted our sold-out 78th Annual Golf Outing—Networking on the 9’s, bringing members and community partners together for an afternoon of friendly competition, networking and fun.
We are grateful to our sponsors and raffle and silent auction donors, whose generosity helped make this year’s Golf Outing a success. Thank you to our Golf Outing Committee, volunteers and ECCI team for keeping the day running smoothly. Congratulations to Jim Malles of Vista Insurance Solutions Inc., winner of the Spring Road Business Association Golden Ticket Raffle!

We have some great Business After Hours events planned! Join us at Elmhurst Bank on Thursday, October 29, for a Halloween-themed evening, and at the Elmhurst History Museum on Thursday, November 5, for a special America 250 Trivia Night featuring networking, local history and friendly competition.
Join Elmhurst University, the City of Elmhurst and ECCI for Multigenerational Mash-Up: HR’s Greatest Hits on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Hear from local HR professionals, gain practical workplace insights and enjoy networking, complimentary refreshments and light bites. Business Licenses are REQUIRED by code for all people engaged in business or occupations operating a physical location within the City limits.
