The Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra Musicians in Performance at Mayslake opens its 2017-18 season with “Classical Jazz” at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 19 at Mayslake Peabody Estate, 1717 W. 31st St. in Oak Brook. and eras, including bebop jazz, electronic pop, original compositions and jazzed-up classical selections. Featured artists will be Gaines on bass and cellist Patti Garvey. Claude Bolling’s Suite for Cello and Jazz Piano Trio promises to be a highlight of the program.
