The Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry was proud to welcome a new group of educators to the Elmhurst community during the 36th Annual New Teachers Welcome. Held in partnership with Elmhurst Community Unit School District 205’s New Educator Academy, this event brought together local businesses, community leaders, and new teachers to celebrate the start of a new school year.
The gathering provided an opportunity for new educators to connect with members of the Elmhurst business community, learn more about the organizations that make Elmhurst a great place to live and work, and feel welcomed as they begin their journey in District 205 classrooms.
Teachers and ECCI members enjoyed a wonderful lunch, generously sponsored by Chick-fil-A Elmhurst. Thank you for providing meals for all attendees and helping create a warm and memorable welcome for Elmhurst’s newest educators!
