Happy Fall!
October has always been my favorite month. I love everything about this season — the crisp air, cozy evenings, long walks with my dog Bradley Cooper and the way Elmhurst shines when our tree-lined streets burst with color.
Fun fact: Did you know our ECCI logo was designed to reflect the changing colors of Elm leaves through the seasons?
September was a busy and successful month. We celebrated Chamber of Commerce Week all month long and were honored to have Mayor Scott Levin issue a proclamation declaring September 7–13 as Chamber of Commerce Week in Elmhurst.
We also hosted our very successful 77th Annual Golf Outing – Networking on the 9’s. This sold-out event brought us together to enjoy friendly competition, connect with fellow members, community leaders, and to celebrate the partnerships that make Elmhurst strong.
We are grateful to our Sponsors, Raffle and Silent Auction Donors, and our Golf Outing Committee for making this event such a success. Congratulations again to Kevin Kost, our 2025 Good Works Award recipient!
Volunteer Opportunity: Board and Committee Secretary
Our organization is growing stronger every day and we are looking to add to our team! The Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce and Industry is seeking a volunteer Board and Committee Secretary to assist with meeting documentation and help ensure our Board and committee operations run efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity to:
- Contribute your skills to a respected community organization
- Build connections with local business and community leaders
- Support our mission of strengthening Elmhurst’s business community.
If you have an eye for detail and want to stay connected with what’s happening in Elmhurst’s business community, this is a great opportunity to get involved. Responsibilities include recording meeting minutes, assembling meeting packets and handling follow-up communication as needed.
