Innovation DuPage Work Shop

Downtown Elmhurst Plan Update
Members of the Elmhurst Economic Development Commission at their February 23 meeting at Elmhurst City Hall participated in an input session regarding proposed updates to the Downtown Elmhurst Plan, as conducted by the City’s consulting firm, Houseal Levigne.

Houseal Levigne also staged a pair of February 13 public input session at City Hall, at 8 a.m. for corporate citizens, property and business owners, and developers, and at 6:30 p.m. for residents and stakeholders.

Mayors Roast ECCI Leader
An audience of some 115 businesspeople, residents and community leaders laughed the night away at the Elmhurst Armpit Orchestra’s Mayoral Roast of John Quigley in the Normandy Banquet Room at Elmhurst American Legion THB Post 187 on February 2, while raising more than $5,000 to benefit our military veterans.

Elmhurst Mayor Scott Levin and former Mayors Pete DiCianni and Steve Morley headlined the roast, despite former Mayor Tom Marcucci’s absence due to a last-minute bout of Coronavirus.

105th Annual ECCI Awards Gala

Alan Energy Services Air Conditioning and Heating Company will be recognized as the A.J. “Toche” Terrones Business of the Year for 2023, Endeavor Health’s Colin Dalough will receive the Chairman’s Award, Eva Sanchez of See Your House Right Here @properties Elmhurst is the first repeat Ambassador of the Year and Dan Gibbons of the Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot Foundation will become the 34th inductee into the ECCI Civic Hall of Fame.

Elmhurst TV will videotape the program to air on Comcast Channel 6 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 through April.

Buck-A-Duck Raffle
During 2024, a single Buck-A-Duck winner will split the pot collected at each of our Chamber’s monthly networking events and other selected events.
