Elmhurst Mayor Scott Levin will deliver the Annual “State of Our City” Mayoral Address at the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s Membership Breakfast hosted by Community Bank of Elmhurst, 330 West Butterfield Road, on Thursday, January 16, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Sponsored jointly by ECCI and Community Bank, the annual event is free to both Chamber members and special guests.

Seating is limited to 100 in the bank’s second-floor Hammersmith Community Room and reservations are required.  To RSVP, call the Chamber office at 630-834-6060 or visit the Upcoming Events calendar listing at www.elmhurstchamber.org.

In the first year of his four-year term and second stint as Mayor, Levin will apprise the Elmhurst business community on the successes of 2021 and access the municipality’s economic outlook for 2022 and beyond.

“This is traditionally among the Chamber’s best attended Membership Breakfasts,” said John R. Quigley, ECCI President and CEO since 1999, “and, while attendance is limited, I expect that we will have another enthusiastic crowd.”

“Our members appreciate the Mayor’s interest in keeping them informed about the who, what, when, where and why of life in our community,” added Quigley.

A successful businessman himself, Mayor Levin is an attorney with ECCI member Howard and Howard Attorneys in Chicago, with litigation expertise in the field of business law.

Mayor Levin has been active in the Elmhurst Chamber for the past 20 years, serving as 2010 Chair of the ECCI Board of Directors before running for elected office.

“His decade-plus of work as a Fifth Ward Alderman and Interim Mayor helped our City not just survive, but prosper, during the most challenging of times,” stated Quigley. The program will be taped by “Elmhurst Our Kind of Town” for broadcast in February on Channel 6 of Comcast and Channel 99 of AT&T U-verse.
