The Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ECCI) is among 26 suburban based companies and business organizations selected to receive the Daily Herald Business Ledger’s 28th Annual Awards for Business Excellence (AABEs).

A Business Ledger Business Achievement Award recipient back in 2001, the Elmhurst Chamber is the only honoree in the Business Organization/Economic Development Entity category.

The AABEs are presented in recognition of business achievement, growth and community involvement.

Award recipients in seven categories will be recognized at a reception beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, at the Danada House in Wheaton.

Awards categories include Small Company (up to 50 employees), Mid-Sized Companies (51-150 employees), Large Companies, Inovation in Business, Family Business and Not-for-Profit.

The recipient companies and organizations will be profiled in a special publication of the Daily Herald Business Ledger published on April 23.

Presenting Sponsors for this year’s AABE are Focus Capital Advisors (Downers Grove), Signature Bank (Chicago) and B. Gunther & Co. (Lisle).

Marketing Partners are the Small Business Advocacy Council and MRA-The Management Association.

Cost to attend the reception is $55 per person or discounted tables are available for $45 per person.   Registrations are taken online.
