The Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry is now accepting application for the position of Director of Member Services, ECCI President and Chief Operating Officer John R. Quigley announced on June 11.

The Director of Member Services reports directly to the ECCI President and CEO, and serves as liaison to the Membership Committee, which is one of four Standing Committees of the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

The Director of Member Services serves as the primary staff member responsible for the growth of total membership, membership dues and per member investment through new member recruitment, retention of new members and retention of all other members.

Additionally, the Director of Member Services assists in the planning, coordination and implementation of Chamber programs, products, services and events to ensure and increase membership participation and financial support.

Responsibilities also include scheduling and oversight of the Chamber’s monthly networking events (Membership Breakfasts and Business After Hours), Professional Speaker Series and Ambassador Calls in co-ordination with the Office Manager.

Compensation includes full-time salary (stating at $30K) and benefits such as medical insurance (healthcare, vision and dental), life insurance, retirement, educational training, travel and related expenses.

To apply, candidates must submit a cover letter and resume to the President and CEO by mail to the Chamber office at 300A West Lake Street, Suite 201, Elmhurst, IL 60126, or e-mail at johnq@elmhurstchamber.org.

The position has been vacant sign the October 31, 2020, resignation of Mariella Mastromauro, who served two years as Director of Member Services before she accepted a membership retention job with the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce in Florida.

Mastromauro was only the fifth membership staffer in Quigley’s 21-year tenure, following in the footsteps of Tessa Zemgulys, Kevin O’Keeffe (now Executive Director at the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce), Betsy D’Onofrio (now with Inland Home Mortgage) and Ann Palumbo.

New member tiers include Advocate (Engagement Tier) at $120 per month, Investor (Marketing Tier) at $80 per month and Member (Networking Tier) at $40 per month—paid via our Chamber’s direct debit options of bank account or credit card.  Regardless of tier level, new members also can purchase a sponsorship package of either Second Century ($5,000 annually) or Elm Leaf ($2,500 annually).
