The Elmhurst Public Library is governed by a nine-member citizen Board of Trustees whose members are appointed for three-year terms beginning July 1 by the Mayor with the consent of the Elmhurst City Council.
Except for 28 days prior to an election, Elmhurst residents may register to vote at any time at the City Clerk’s Office, Elmhurst City Hall, 209 North York Street, on Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
