A more user-friendly and easier to navigate Chamber website, www.elmhurschamber.org, went on line September 1. Redesigned by Synergistic Networks (180 West Park Avenue, Suite 210), the website features a new home page with a new “Keyword Search” function to reach beyond the “Member Search,” new quick-access “Restaurant Guide,” “Entertainment Guide” and “Retail Shopping” hyperlink icons, a “Street Map” hop button linking to the map of Elmhurst on the Village Profile website (www.villageprofile.com) and up-to-the minute information on “Upcoming Events” and “News & Notes.”

Purse-ona (120 North York Street, Suite 103) will celebrate its One-Year Anniversary in the Liberty Arts Building with a Wine and Cheese Party on Friday, September 24, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 25, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. All purses will be 10% off.

Elmhurst College (190 Prospect Avenue) has earned a Top-10 ranking among Midwestern Comprehensive Colleges in the U.S. News & World Report magazine survey, “America’s Best Colleges,” for the second year in a row after years as a Top Tier school.
Glynis Hutson, Owner of Elegant Impressions, has earned the designation of Accredited Bridal Consultant, one of only 40 in the world recognized by the Association of Bridal Consultants.
