Business After Hours
Edward Jones Investments/Jason Janes (115 West Vallette Street) and members of the Prairie Shopping Center will host the Chamber’s Business After Hours on Thursday, February 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Membership Breakfast
Faux Design Studio (665 North Walnut Street) will host the Chamber’s Membership Breakfast on Wednesday, February 4, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.

Newsmakers
Cardinal Cartridge, Inc. (862 Industrial Drive) has moved into a new Elmhurst location with 30,000 square feet of space (double its former plant size) in expectation of doubling or tripling its production of remanufactured laser and ink cartridges.
Interior Transformation, Inc. (254 West Second Street) has built a new website, www.interiortransformation.com, to display the services and example photographs of its interior designing and decorating via the internet.
Elmhurst College (190 Prospect Avenue) has named Paul Krohn, who has served as the football Bluejays’ head coach since 1993, as its new Director of Athletics.
Don Figura, Managing Partner of Wolf & Company LLP (2100 Clearwater Drive, Oak Brook), was among a half dozen representatives from the Wolf Financial Group selected to serve on the PKF North American Network, a membership association comprised of 87 independent accounting and consulting firms, for 2004. He will serve on the Large Firms Task Force.
Special Events
The Elmhurst Jaycees (P.O. Box 235) will host a wine tasting for prospective members at TANNINS, 112 North York Street, on Saturday, January 17. The cost is $20.00 per person.
Elmhurst Cigar House (114 West Park Avenue) is sponsoring an evening of cigars, wine, cordials and hors d’oeurves at McNally’s Traditional Irish Pub (122 South York Street) on Thursday, January 22, at 7:00 p.m.. The Character Crusaders Committee at Kinder Castle Early Care and Education Center (212 West Lake Street) is hosting its Second Annual CELEBRATION OF DIVERSITY on Friday, January 23, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The countries of Thailand, Greece, Norway, Finland and Sweden will be showcased. Kopper Kitchen (601 West St. Charles Road), at the customer’s request, will donate 20 percent of a breakfast, lunch or dinner bill—including the $8.50 all-you-can-eat Friday Fish Fry—to Immaculate Conception High School (217 Cottage Hill Avenue) during January and February.
Elmhurst Yoga Shala (506 Spring Road) is offering a free community yoga class every Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
Award-winning National Scholastic Art Competition student artwork submitted by more than 32 area schools will be exhibited at the Elmhurst Art Museum (150 Cottage Hill Avenue) from February 1-13. For more info, call April Arnold at 834-0202, ext. 13.
