A Nominating Committee slate of five recently-elected candidates officially began three-year terms as members of the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors at the Board’s November 12 meeting at Community Bank of Elmhurst (330 West Butterfield Road).

As sworn in by Outgoing Board Chair Angela Villegas of Lakeside Bank, new Directors with first terms expiring in November of 2028 were as follows:
Jake Meding, Senior Director of Development of Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation; and
Steve Morley, Former two-term Mayor of Elmhurst, Principal of Every Door Direct Media

Elected to a second term as incumbent directors are as follows:
Colin Dalough, System Program Director, Government Relations of Endeavor Health;
Ron Jaderholm, Owner of Dependable Printing Services; and
Kristin Walker, Vice President, Relationship Management at Hinsdale Bank & Trust Company (Elmhurst Bank), Wintrust Financial Corporation.

“We’re grateful for the outstanding leaders who have committed their time and expertise to serve on our Board of Directors, both our returning and newly elected members who help strengthen the Elmhurst Chamber and our business community.” said Jennifer Veremis, Chamber President and CEO.

Dalough and Walker served on the Executive Committee in 2025 as Past Chair and First Vice Chair, respectively, while Jaderholm has served on the Marketing Committee since 2022.

Morley and Meding served on the Marketing and Membership committees, respectively, in 2025.

The newly-elected Directors were slated by a five-person Nominating Committee of non-Board member Past Board Chairs. This year’s slate ran uncontested, with no Chamber member filing the required petition to run for election.

The Board is comprised of 15 elected Directors serving three-year terms, plus three Ex-Officio Directors and an annually-appointed Treasurer.  Elected Directors are limited to serving two consecutive terms, not counting years as an appointee filling a vacancy or as a post-term Past Chairperson.
