ELMHURST, Ill, December 30, 2003 – Noted economic expert Carl Tannenbaum, Chief Financial Officer at LaSalle Bank, will be the Keynote Speaker for a Business Luncheon co-sponsored by the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry and five other area chambers at Oak Brook Hills Resort, 3500 Midwest Road, Oak Brook, on Friday, February 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
“This luncheon provides our members with an opportunity to hear an insider’s take on the economy and network with members from a handful of chambers from neighboring communities,” said John Quigley, President of the Elmhurst Chamber.
Sponsoring chambers include the Downers Grove Chamber of Commerce,
Lisle Chamber of Commerce, Lombard Chamber of Commerce, Woodridge Chamber
of Commerce and the Westmont Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, which
co-hosted the 2003 Tannenbaum luncheon along with Elmhurst.
“More than 100 businesspeople from the Elmhurst and Westmont chambers came together to hear Carl’s insights, so I expect we could double or even triple that number this time around,” Quigley said.
Carl Tannenbaum, a Board Member of the National Association for Business Economics, is a sought-after speaker at conference and seminars across the country.
His topic is titled, “A Score of Economic Lessons.”
Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. and lunch service starts at 12:00 noon.
