Special Events
York Theatre and Elmhurst College will present a special screening of the fabled 1959 western, “The Magnificent Seven,” on Wednesday, December 10, at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Michael Bell, Dean of the Faculty, will provide post-movie expert commentary. December 19 is the application deadline (with $30.00 fee) for the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra Association’s Dr. Robert Stanger Young Artists Audition, to be held on February 7, 2004, in Irion Hall at Elmhurst College (190 Prospect Avenue). “State of the City” Mayoral Address
Elmhurst Mayor Thomas D. Marcucci will deliver his annual “State of the City” Mayoral Address at the Chamber’s Membership Breakfast hosted by Community Bank of Elmhurst, 330 West Butterfield Road, on Wednesday, January 14, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. The event is sponsored jointly by the Chamber, Community Bank and Elmhurst Economic Development Corporation (EEDC). Reservations are required and seating is limited to 150.
