DOWNERS GROVE, Illinois (October 2, 2013)  Shaw Media announces today that its eighteen weekly publications published in DuPage, Cook and Will Counties will now each be named Suburban Life.

 

The newspapers will now be Downers Grove Suburban Life, Hinsdale Suburban Life, West Chicago Suburban Life, Villa Park Suburban Life, Elmhurst Suburban Life, Berwyn Suburban Life, Riverside and Brookfield Suburban Life, Bolingbrook Suburban Life, Lemont Suburban Life, Wheaton Suburban Life, Glen Ellyn Suburban Life, Lisle Suburban Life, Woodridge Suburban Life, Carol Stream Suburban Life, Addison Suburban Life, Lombard Suburban Life, Westmont Suburban Life, and La Grange Suburban Life.

 

Shaw Media purchased the newspapers from Gatehouse Media on Oct. 1, 2012, and has since focused on improving the content of each paper, increasing the amount of local news and adding new features, including high school sports coverage, the Mystery Diner restaurant feature, HubArkush.com Chicago football coverage, and Planit Life entertainment features.

 

 

Suburban Life publisher J.
