With the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce and Industry among 580 supporting signatories, the United States Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Legal Reform (ILR) today sent a coalition letter to U.S. Congress members urging them to consider including targeted and temporary liability protections in the next Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic relief package.

Pritzker on January 18 loosened restrictions within eight regions, including Region 8 (DuPage County), which moved to Tier 2 mitigations of Phase 4 of his Restore Illinois Plan, effective immediately.

Illinois Governor Announces COVID-19 Mitigation Updates

Following a decrease in Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic test positivity rates and hospitalizations throughout our state, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker announced today that regions across the state are now eligible to move out of Tier 3 mitigations—the strictest tier of Illinois’ Resurgence  Mitigation Plan—initially implemented shortly before Thanksgiving.
