The Board of Directors of the Elmhurst Chamber is comprised of a minimum of 15 elected Directors serving 3-year terms (5 Directors with terms expiring in 2025, 2026 and 2027, respectively) and an annually-appointed Treasurer, plus 3 Ex-Officio members representing the City of Elmhurst, Elmhurst Community Unit School District 205 and Elmhurst Park District.  Directors are slated by a five-member Nominating Committee and elected automatically if the slate is uncontested by the membership.  Typically comprised of Past Board Chairs, the Nominating Comittee is appointed by the Board Chair, with the approval of the Board.

Committees

The Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s Board of Directors receives input and recommendations from its Executive Committee and four Standing Committees–Marketing, Membership, Ways and Means, and Governmental Affairs–on policies and procedures, products and services, membership recruitment and retention, fundraising and friendraising, and events and partnerships.  Standing Committees are chaired by a member of the six-person Executive Committee.
