With A MAY 1 DEADLINE FAST APPROACHING, the Elmhurst Garden Club is accepting applications for its Mildred Hartney scholarships which will award a total of $15,000 to college students who are residents of the state of Illinois and who are currently enrolled in programs related to the club’s mission statement which includes environmental studies, conservation, biology or botany, landscape design and science education. The mission of the Elmhurst Garden Club is to encourage the advancement of, and stimulate an interest in, horticulture through education: To aid in the protection of the environment, To provide an outlet for creative expression, To encourage civic beautification, To provide gift scholarships to further horticulture, conservation, landscape design and science education.
Applicants MUST be current sophomores, juniors, or graduate students who are already enrolled in a program related to our mission statement above. Our scholarships are targeted for tuition and fees. Applications and more information are available on elmhurstgardenclub.org
