APRIL IS ELMHURST CHAMBER’S MONTH
TO PROMOTE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY
ELMHURST, Ill., April 2, 2004 – As part of a new program of monthly member promotions, the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry is encouraging residents, businesspeople, visitors and tourists to patronize our 26 member businesses in the Automotive Industry.
“The residents of Elmhurst benefit in many ways from the presence of a vibrant industry of automotive-related businesses, which generate nearly half of the city’s sales tax receipts,” said John R. Quigley, President of the Elmhurst Chamber.
The Chamber’s automotive mix of businesses includes new and used car dealers, body shops, rental and leasing agencies, repair and service shops, and tires, supplies and parts shops.

Established in 1918, the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry is a voluntary organization of business and professional men and women who have joined together to promote the civic and commercial progress of the community.
