Business After Hours

Industrial Business Development Lunch
The Chamber and the City of Elmhurst’s Economic Development Office (209 North York Street), with funding support from the DuPage Count Economic Development Department and Vital Signs USA (469 Spring Road), will co-host an invitation-only Industrial Business Development Lunch on financing and assistance programs offered by the State of Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DECO) at OEC Business Interiors (900 North Church Road) on Thursday, March 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  DCEO Deputy Director Dennis Vicchiarelli is the featured speaker.  RSVP to the Chamber by March 4.

White Pines Golf Club (500 West Jefferson Avenue, Bensenville) will host the Chamber Membership Breakfast on Wednesday, March 9, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.

Newsmakers

Kopper Kitchen (601 West St. Charles Road) will donate 20 percent of a breakfast, lunch or dinner bill to Visitation School during March and April at the patron’s request.

Create-a Mosaic (108 West Second Street) will be open Wednesdays through Sundays from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and closed Monday and Tuesday, effective February 13.

The Elmhurst Children’s Assistance Foundation (P.O. The Elmhurst Lions Club will host its 19th Annual Pizza Party, featuring pizza from Roberto’s Ristorante & Pizzeria (483 Spring Road) at Sandburg Middle School (345 East St. Charles Road) on Saturday, March 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.  A donation of $7.00 per person is requested, with children six and under free.

“State of the City” Mayoral Address
The Annual “State of the City” Mayoral Address, featuring Elmhurst Mayor Thomas D. Marcucci, co-sponsored by the Chamber and Community Bank of Elmhurst (330 West Butterfield Road), will air on “Elmhurst Our Kind of Town” on Channel 6 of Comcast throughout February on Monday and Wednesday at 4:00 p.m., Friday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 8:00 p.m.
