ECCI Civic Hall of Fame Welcomes ‘Voice of Elmhurst’

Illinois Chamber Responds to Governor’s Budget Address
While Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker presented an optimistic outlook for the Illinois economy during his Annual “State of the State” Budget Address in Springfield on February 19, the Illinois Chamber of Commerce cited several fiscal concerns that remained unaddressed.
Court Reinstates Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting
On February 18, the United States District Court for the Eastern District in Texas lifted the injunction that was preventing the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Finance Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) from enforcing Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting (BOIR) requirements under the Corporate Transperancy Act (CTA) of 2024.
