County Reopens Reinvest DuPage Grants for Small Businesses
DuPage County announced on June 18 the re-launching of its online portal for Reinvest DuPage, a grant relief program developed in partnership with Choose DuPage for small businesses and independent contractors. The program provide grants of up to $15,000 to sustain eligible businesses impacted by COVID-19.
Governor Announces $900M More in COVID-19 Grant Relief
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker on June 17 joined members of the Black, Latino and Asian Caucuses of the state legislature and small business owners to announce a package of more than $900 million in state grant programs to support communities and businesses impacted by the pandemic and recent civil unrest.

The United States Small Business Asministration (SBA) on June 15 reopened its online portal for qualified small businesses and not-for-profit (NFP) organizations suffering economic damage as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) Emergency Grant (forgiveable) and/or low-interest loan.

Earlier today (June 5), United States President Donald J. Trump signed into law changes to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) federal relief funding guidelines proposed in the now-stalled $3 trillion The HEROES Act to the benefit of businesses across America, following approval by the U.S. Senate on June 3 and by the U.S. House of Representatives on May 28.
