Networking & Referral

Monthly Events (2)

Free to host and attend, Business After Hours provide two hours of networking, usually 5 to 7 p.m., with a more social atmosphere. Members come and go as they please or as their schedule permits.  Dinner fare or hors d'oeuvres and beverages (alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic) are compliments of the host.

Free to host and attend, Membership Breakfast provide one hour of structured networking from 8 to 9 a.m. Every member is given 30 seconds to introduce themselves and promote their business. Breakfast food and beverages are compliments of the host.

Annual Luncheons (4)

Held in February, the multi-chamber Economic Outlook Luncheon features the Chief Economic at the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago as the Keynote Speakers.

Held in March, the multi-chamber Keynote Speaker Luncheon features a prominent individual such as the 2012 presenter, Chicago Cubs Owner Tom Ricketts.

Held in April on Administrative Professionals Day, the Spring Luncheon honors Chamber members in a segment of the business community for their contributions to Elmhurst's economy.

Held in August, the New Teachers Luncheon welcomes teachers new to Elmhurst's schools.  Members can treat a new teacher to lunch and/or donate items to a goody bag.

Special Events (4)

Held in January, the Annual Awards Gala celebrates the Chamber's previous year of accomplishments with a 60-minute awards program.

Held last June at White Pines Golf Course in Bensenville in partnership with the Bensenville Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber's annual Golf Outing has been a popular events for more than 60 years.

Held in September at The Hub at Berens Park and catered by The Silverado Grill, the annual Steak Fry Business After Hours brings together families of Chamber members to commemorate both Chamber of Commerce Week in Elmhurst and the official end of summer.

Held in October, the multi-chamber Business-to-Business Expo features business education, networking and promotion.

Community Events

Held in May, Elmhurst's annual Memorial Day Parade attracts as many as 10,000 residents and visitors lining the streets of downtown Elmhurst on the way to the Veterans Memorial in Wilder Park, where the Post Parade Military Ceremony is held.


The Chamber also sponsors and/or helps organize community events such as the St. Patrick's Day Parade down Spring Road in March, Spring Road Pet Parade in May, Music at the Spring Road Gazebo each summer, and York & Vallette Farmer's Market, Fall Fest and holiday sleigh rides.
