Enjoy a performance by the Elmhurst College Jazz Band during the “WDCB Jazz Salon at Mayslake” on Thursday, June 12 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County’s Mayslake Peabody Estate at 1717 W. 31st St. in Oak Brook.

The Elmhurst College Jazz Band has gained international acclaim through tours to 17 nations and outstanding ratings at several jazz festivals. Under the direction of Doug Beach, this collegiate ensemble regularly performs with visiting artists and has even commissioned a number of original works.

General seating is $20 per person and $18 for students, seniors over 65 and groups of six or more. Premier seating at cabaret-style tables is $25 per person. Tickets are available through Mayslake at

The performance is a joint effort of the PianoForte Foundation, WDCB Public Radio and Mayslake Peabody Estate. Seating opens at 7 p.m., and an optional $5-per-person guided tour of historic Mayslake Hall begins at 6:30 p.m.
