The County of DuPage is governed by an elected 19-member Board whose members represent six districts, with the City of Elmhurst in District 1 (north) and District 2 (south).
As a countywide elected official, the County Board Chairman serves as the chief executive officer of the County Board, supervising the implementation of the Board’s policies and programs.
