A.C. Buehler is a member of the Metropolitan Library System (MLS), which gives MLS card-carrying patrons privileges at academic, public, school, and special libraries in Chicago and in the suburban communities of Cook, DuPage and Will counties.
Along with MLS membership, A.C. Buehler participates in ILLINET Online, a computer catalog of materials in more then 45 academic libraries in Illinois.
The “Cultural Campus” adjacent to downtown Elmhurst features both public and private libraries—Elmhurst Public Library (established 1912) in Wilder Park and A.C. Buehler Library—situated along Prospect Avenue nearly kitty-corner to each other.
Elmhurst College's unparalleled collection of Chicago Imagist art is displayed throughout its library.
