Elmhurst City Centre is a not-for-profit organization of business and property owners that collectively markets and manages downtown Elmhurst via promotions such as Cool Cars Under the Stars, Heartfelt Girlfriends Getaway, Cool Kiddie Art (in charitable partnership with the Elmhurst Children's Assistance Foundation), directories and gift certificates.

Organizational priorities also center on downtown beautification and maintenance, including seasonal plantings, holiday decorations and tree lighting, snow removal and sidewalk clean-up.

City Centre serves as the collective voice of the downtown community in other issues affecting physical and business environment, and provides services and resources to both established and prospective merchants and property owners.
